Eric Koston just returned from a working vacation to Puerto Rico, where he enjoyed a round of golf, a little skating, and some good ol' down-home food poisoning from a bad sandwich. (We think it was the mayonnaise). Eric was in Puerto Rico for the éS sales meetings, hanging out with the extended éS family and spreading the good word. Eric will be skating around the LA area until early next year, when he takes off to Barcelona with the rest of the éS team to film for the upcoming YéS! video.
P.J. Ladd has been spotted around Carlsbad, California, schralping the streets of downtown and working up some new moves for YéS, while Javier Sarmiento, who is in Australia skating with the Volcom crew, has been collecting footage, as well.
Justin Eldridge and Cale Nuske are teaming up again this week to shoot more photos and film for YéS, although Justin also spent a few hours Tuesday on the set of a new TV show called Numbers, starring Judd Hirsch of Taxi fame, about an FBI agent and his brother who is a math wiz. Huh? Apparently, they needed some skateboarders for background shots, and little did they know they were getting a secret ace in the hole.
If you see a kid with long dreads skating some of the many spots around LA this weekend, it just might be our éS flow rider, Nyjah Huston. Check out Nyjah's coverage in the new January 2005 Thrasher mag. It's amazing!
