Eric Koston, Tom Penny, Rodrigo Tx. and Justin Eldridge met up with noted photographer Atiba Jefferson and his brother, The Skateboard Mag Art Director Ako Jefferson, as well as éS art dude / East Coaster / ex-Pitcrewer Matt Willigan, to shoot photos for upcoming éS ads. Koston was also there to shoot photos for a new éS bobble head project. More to come on that later.
The next day (also known as today), Penny and Rodrigo stopped by the éS offices to say hi, work on some colorways for their Penny 2 and Rodrigo pro shoes, and grab some goods from the éStash. These two characters may be answering some of your questions soon.
Rick McCrank has been trying out new samples of his éS McCrank 4 shoe (due out in Spring 2006) and it is so hot! Rick has also been playing guitar and recording some funny little songs with his five-year-old daughter on vocals.
Aussie cat Cale Nuske is lost somewhere in Melbourne. If you've seen Cale, please have him call him the éS Team Mom.
Speaking of moms, P.J. Ladd just enjoyed a week-long visit from his mom, who flew in from Boston and stayed at his San Diego apartment. P.J. will be back on his board filming after his mini-vacation, shredding and maddogging the ledges of SoCal. Booyakashaw! Help support the P.J. Ladd cause by getting off this computer and skating on over to your nearest skate shop to buy a pair of the Accel and Accel Plus P.J. Ladd colorway shoes. They're, like, totally bitchin'. Just to prove that, there's even a capital B embossed on the side of the shoe. Just kidding. Actually, that big ol' B stands for Boston, P.J.'s hometown.
éS Flow World
éS flow rider Nyjah Huston's face takes up a whole page (with a big skate shot on the opposite side) in a nice two-page Element ad in Issue 13 of The Skateboard Mag. Super Sweet! Keep racking up the covie, Nyjah!
éS flow rider Bobby Worrest has officially taken over the interview world with yet another (eight-page!) spread, also in Issue 13 of The Skateboard Mag. Way to go, Bobby! Talk about cash for photo incentive! Bobby's cleaning out our coffers!
éS flow rider Antwuan Dixon is transferring from real school to home school (just like P-Rod did) so he can focus more time on skateboarding and less on homework! Just kidding! Home schooling is a lot tougher than you may think. You know what "they" always say. Warning: Don't try this at home!
éS flow rider Kelly Hart is leaving on a little Barcelona mission in March with the Expedition team to conquer the streets of Barcelona. Good luck, Kelly! Be sure to shred the dawg!
