i just reacently downloaded 2 pj ladd video parts from this forum in another site. they are parts before his wonderful horrible life video. I think one is a part from the first coliseum video (not wonderful horrible life)and the other one is a sponsor me tape. its great i cant believe how good he was even back then . anyways i need some help, i want to know how you can make the video (i think its a mpg file)watchable on a dvd player. do you have to convert it or what? can some one please help me?
p.s. if some one can tell me how to do this i will post the link to the forum where you can find both of the videos.
to play a mpg file on a dvd player you would have to have a program to convert it to a dvd format and a dvd burner or you could jus convert it to VCD format and burn it on a regular disc but the dvd player has to also have vcd format compatible

Slide Shows can be good, just look at Good and Evil, those were great. Of course I'm going to say PJ extra footage, but I want to see more behind the scenes type of stuff at spots. Also more like the Menikmati 2 special feature that was on the first DVD. Any sort of stupid shit can be thrown in to me, it's all completely watchable, these guys live the kind of lives I could only dream about, hell, I could watch Tom Penny eat a Super Size Number 1 at McDonalds and be completely mesmerized. What about a day in the life with each rider on the team? Sort of like the 411, but obviously alot better since Mike Manzoori will be doing it. Also, anything with Ed Templeton would be good. Lastly, leave us with footage proving that Justin Elgridge can skate regular, he may be talented in switch tricks, but pleeease, he is just as boring as a Corey Duffel/Mike Vallely/Chris Lambert chess match. While I get the chance to say what I feel, I will leave this post at this:

I hope to see a section where you guys go on tour and hit up the skate spots, and if you guys were ever in the sacto area they should check out this skatepark in elk grove. Some people like Brandon Beible and Stefan Janoski, and i think Matt Rodriguez were there so maybe you guys could have a small session some time.
It would be awsome if the `es team had a a little game of skate with eachother, or a long line with each team member in it. Like one person on the team would start it off by doing like 2 or 3 tricks, and then they roll up to another team member and slap his hand and that team meber does a run of 2 to 3 tricks. That would be cool. You guys could call it like "The Run" or something, haha.

Just make sure that you put plenty of unseen Penny footage as bonus to the DVD. If you could track down footage of that b/s nollie flip across the Meanwhile Gap (in London) that would be amazing. Creager was kicked off eS' for not skating enough rails by the way, so now you know.

u guys should put some alternate editings, slow mo section, old footy that wasnt used in any other vid, slideshow, and some bonus montages of the flow and am teams.
i'd like to see you guys hiding product everywhere with little clues where they are. kinda like creagers day in the life. or do the orchard street dunk thing and hang rare es samples in trees, street lights, telephone wires, etc. near popular skate spots. it would be interesting how people would get the shoes down. i can just imagine kids waiting in line for the dvd to drop if word gets out that hints to find free product is in the credits.
no slow mo tricks, if we want 2 see them in slowmo we can rewind it . also lots of javi footage and an international montage like in chichagof would be sick . u must make a bonus montage with every rider where u can change the camera angle on every trick using dvd player

It's funny the best part of a demo for me is watching the pros at the very beginning...just cruising around poping out kickflips and backside 180's. Just the pure style of skating...i respect video parts for the amazing ability it takes to flip-backlip a 14 stair rail.Now in the extras on the dvd like people said a game of skate between the team or even going to a curb or a 4 stair and just doing trick down it..just a session like the people on this "blog" would have with there friends..that is what i want to see..with all the videos coming out every month it seems the connection between pros and everyday skaters is so wide..i love watching big things go down and know that is what is needed to make videos..The extras should be about the team and how they skate when they are not filming..that is pure skating and something i believe people would really enjoy watching..makes the pros seem more like people and not the image that is shown by the industry.
im replying to say that is a damn good answer CM that is one of the best answers to a question ive ever seen!!!!!!. that would be sick to have the pros just crusing around i remember watching the OP king of skate and Koston quoted "I cant put up with the camera all the time , u'know sometimes i just wana go slappy a little red curb" well it was somthing like that. Have the pros show what skating is really about. hangin out with friends just doin trick after trick and messing around doing new stuff. Thats what Skateboarding is all about.
U could make a two disc edition, so there can be more bonusfeatures put in. And maybe a second video with am section on the second disc, like the eS europe team (with ricardo paterno, he's like the new paul rodriguez)
If you have the chance to put so much stuff in the video as bonus features, you should take it. C'mon eS, make us happy.

I think that a SKATE game with all the team would be fine! You can also make some crazy tricks as you done it before on the menikmati! the riders trying to land some tricks is not a good idea too. And I finally think that showing us the riders' run during a contest would be great! (please don't take care of all my mistakes because I'm french!)

the YeS video of course with plenty of bonus footage such as the eS europe tour 2003, the King Of The Road 2003 segment in that thrasher video, alternate angles, slowmo section, photo gallery, just the eS team lurking around anywhere, demos, tours (everything in the GALLERY section), some unused footy from the whole team, and finally some sort of MTV CRIBS to all of the eS team rider's homes. I know koston already had his house on MTV cribs but i've never had a chance to see it and i would really appreciate it if u could put stuff like that in the video
