So, what's been up with the éS team lately? Lots o' stuff, really. Between international travels and local terrorization, the boys have been keeping busy filming for the upcoming éS video.
You may have seen Eric Koston on MTV's Trippin', cavorting around Chile, South America recently with fellow celebrities Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore, makeup artist Gucci Westman and music video star Derrick Watkins (also known as Farnsworth Bentley). While the real mission was to scope local environmental problems, our crew had a lot of fun along the way. For instance, Eric's car got stuck in the sand, so everyone made lemonade out of lemons by going sandboarding. They also sampled wine, and visited a strawberry farm and a sheep farm, where the locals threw a feast and taught the travelers how to shear sheep. A glacier viewing found its way in there somewhere, too. Koston may be filming a sequel soon, so look out for that!
The ever-elusive Tom Penny was spotted at the éS offices today with his girl, Veronica, and son, Nico. Tom dropped by to say hi and grab some éS goods for himself and the family.
Rick McCrank is in Oregon with fellow Anti-Social team rider Keegan Sauder, shredding the many concrete parks that the area has to offer. Noted filmer Jon Miner is getting some amazing footage of those two up there.
As far as Rodrigo Tx., Cale Nuske and Javier Sarmiento go, they are still in Barcelona lurking around the usual spots and filming for the next éS video.
P.J. Ladd also showed up at the éS offices today, where he was witnessed talking shop and working on his upcoming éS pro model shoe, which will be in stores in Spring 2006. In the meantime, get off this computer and skate on over to your nearest skate shop to buy a pair of the Accel and Accel Plus P.J. Ladd colorway shoes. They're, like, totally bananas. Just to prove that, there's even a capital B embossed on the side of the shoe. Just kidding. Actually, that big ol' B stands for Boston, P.J.'s hometown.
Justin Eldridge is back from Barcelona, shredding the streets of Los Angeles and the Valley. Oh, by the way, Justin is selling his 2003 Lexus IS. It's black with a leather interior and in great condition. $20,000 or best offer. Any takers?
