éS Footwear officially launches to fill the need for a new type of skate shoe, a brand that pushes the limits of advanced footwear design and caters to the demands of the core, technical skateboarder.
éS kicks off with Sal Barbier's first pro model skate shoe, the Sal 23, in Spring. The Fall line adds his second pro model, the SLB (the first-ever mid-top with a neoprene sock liner), plus the Accel (the first-ever skate shoe with a kevlar ollie pad), the Aura (the first-ever skate shoe with an air system), the Aventi, the Contour (the first-ever skate shoe with hidden leather lace loops) and the Uno.

i think eS had around 5 or more shoes in it's first drop. i remember the auroras (i think that is what they were called) were the first skateshoe with an airbag in the heel. you also got one of the airbags as a keyring too.

hey charlie it doesnt matter between the cramer and maccel they are the same exact shoe but the maccel kinda looks more like circa but i had the maccel and the stitching went out and i had to tie that shit together with ductape so i suggest the cramer

alright, correct me if im wrong but i do believe that Arto Saari was going to come out with a second shoe for eS,(the Arto 2) but it never worked out because he went over to etnies. i say this because i noticed him wearing a pair in Really Sorry, when he backside heelflipped and switched heeled into that bank, (check the video for confirmation). they looked kinda white and black, or dark blue. i also noticed him wearing them in a couple of etnies ads, and im pretty sure theyre not his etnies model. either way they looked pretty rad. i dunno i just wanted to see if that was true that there was a second eS Arto shoe that never came out.
uhhh. i noticed that sometimes the dudes that design shoes and stuff read this so i just had a suggestion. add lace protection to some accels or something. that would make them perfect. i always wanna buy es shoes but i dont bother cuz its too hard to find cheaper ones with lace protection.
i agree with the lace protection with the accels because it's the #1 shoe the has the most laces rips and the lace prtection could help out.
you could get the maccels. They have hidden nylon lace loops.
if any of the eS dudes are reading this, i dont think you should fuck with the design of the Accels just to put in some lace protection. theyre great just the way they are now. and you can always just go buy new laces anyway. just a thought.

benji is right. the first two holes on the Accel have lace loops. They are kinda hard to see at first. You have to look in between the eyelets.
don`t mess with the accels desine because they are already perfect i had a pair and not one lace rip yet and i had them for 10 months
