Tom Penny has long been the most elusive character in skateboarding. During the rare occasions that he's chosen to surface, he has always given everyone something to talk about. The next time Tom rears his head, unfortunately, it won't be in éS Footwear. As of January 1, 2006, he will be moving on.
We would like to thank Tom for 10 incredible years with the brand, and for all that he's done for skateboarding with éS under his feet. A true international man of mystery, Tom's skateboarding and personality have always amazed and left us wanting more.
éS would like to wish Tom well in his future endeavors. As an original member of the éS team, the legacy he has left will live on with us forever.
As the New Year arrives, keep your eyes trained on éS for the first-ever pro model shoes from P.J. Ladd and Justin Eldridge, as well as a new team rider or two to be announced in the coming months.

penny 2's are dope and it won't hurt biz..don't worry. As for supra I give it 2-3 years...maybe 4 at the most. The shoe game is a tough one kids. I know a bunch of shoe brands trying to sell their shit to big surf companies or whom ever is buying. And...now the non-skate companies are jumping in...shit is going to be hectic kids but that doesn't affect you (or does it?) I love skateboarding! Fuck the biz just get out there and push around let us worry about the biz.

hEu, Craig, you're a great manager, but don't fuck the biz, because that's the biz you love ! If you fuck really the biz you will continue to produce and love some techi innovating shoes (scheme, diode...) and not simple one like the flik and the "Ladd"...

TonyXes- When I say fuck the biz I'm talking about it in relation to actual skating. Companies come and go and in reality kids should just be more focused on the actual act of skateboarding...not who's riding for or what shoe company is going under. I think there should be less talk about the biz and more focus on the act riding the stunt wood.
Now back to topic. Tom is a legend and he will always be a part of éS regardless of what brand he rides for.

Best Skater- Penny doesn't own a piece of Supra. I think he's the only one that didn't get ownership. Lame in my book.
As for Koston he just invented a cure for cancer and we'll be sending that out with every pair of Accels that can only be bought in this new mall underwater...it's so radical

For launching this new one the team from Kr3w was hired by this new compagny. that's why Penny left éS and Ellington left Emerica (and it's a rumor but antwan could go to Supra too...)

if you can't use the footage for a tribute section in the new video please sell it to Flip, Supra or someone!
there are many devoted Penny fans out there, who have to wait a long time for the smallest bit of Penny footage. he is getting older and won't be around for ever, so please let us see what footage there is before it's too late and he's gone forever.
