Harvey Spannos, a surreal skate comedy by Corey Adams and starring Rick McCrank, took top honors at the X-Dance Action Sports Film Festival at Sundance and won the Fuel TV Experiment, which is giving Corey up to one million dollars to make his next film. That is a pretty big deal. Congratulations to all involved!
About Harvey Spannos: A boy discovers that his deceased father, a professional skateboarder in the 1970s, died in a tragic accident trying to ollie a shark pit. Upon this discovery, the boy begins idolizing a professional skater named Blair Stanley (Rick McCrank), and finds himself having to choose between skating for fun or money.
