Hey, Justin. Let's talk about your new éS pro shoe, the Theory. Which past shoes (or anything else) inspired or influenced your design?
No past shoes did, really. I just wanted a shoe with a vulcanized sole [for good grip and board feel], so we just built it up off that and it turned out great.
Did your shoe go through many major changes, or did you have a strong idea of what you wanted from the start?
I had a strong idea of what I wanted from the start, but I made a few changes in the stitching, the tongue, the laces, plus the overall thickness and thinness.
How long did you work on designing and refining it?
Around six months.
What's the tread like?
It's kind of like a waffle tread, but it's new and exclusive to my shoe.
What, if anything, inspired or influenced your choice of colorways?
I wanted to get a blue / brown colorway in there for the Dodgers. Then there's your standard black and white, plus some bright and some mellow colors. They always look good.
What kind of colorways will we see on your shoe in the future?
A denim color, which is going to be sick, and a maroon. There will also be a red / white / black Jordan colorway, too.
Will we ever see any special fabrics or patterns on your shoe in the future?
Yes, a Timberland-influenced one with a nice suede. That's going to look really good.
Which éS riders skated in your shoe during the testing period?
I don't think many of them have pairs yet, but Atiba Jefferson does and he loves 'em. I also have friends I've given pairs to and they love 'em, too.
How has the reaction to your shoe been so far from those who've skated it?
Very good. Everyone's really psyched on it and asking me when it's going to come out. They all like it. It's going to be great.
Does it skate good?
So good. It's the best shoe I've ever skated, for sure.
Are you happy with the way your shoe turned out?
Very happy.

The Theory sound and look insane. I definately need to pick up a pair right when it comes out.
They look cool, only problem i have with them is that their toecap place, thingy looks to long, like Nike Dunks, and the Dunks don't skate well. But yea the Theory look nice.
Eldridge is sick but I don't like vulcanized shoes.
i might buy those green ones those are to sick. this will be the first pair of shoes that i bought that weren't the accels in 2 years

Justin eldridge's skating is so sick and so is his first pro-model. I'd would have bought some but i just spent my money on some new Black/gum accels. i love accels.

Peter.-they are not Theory's because the shoes im talking about they have 'eS logos and the Theorys dont have 'eS logos on them. look carefully in the third picture.

Bestskater.- Oh yeh dude Garry said something about the Arklow in the past blogs he said it was like an updated EOS so the shoes in the third picture kinda looked like EOS with the eS logo so i thought it was the Arklow.....
