éS Game of SKATE Santa Cruz, California Report

Posted July 6, 2006 by éS

The winner, Mark Siciu.

The éS Game of SKATE made its Santa Cruz debut today, with 84 entrants enjoying some great beach weather. Skaters from all over the Monterey Bay Area, as well as over the hill in Silicon Valley, came to skate, get some gear from éS and Boost Mobile, and participate in the world’s largest skateboarding tournament.

In the end, it came down to five skaters in the Finals: Mark Siciu, Daniel Rivera, James Starlin, Ruben Monjaraz, and David Troup. Mark Siciu, who lives in Saratoga, California, took top honors in the five-man Finals, and never got a letter in the Finals. At 13 years young, Mark is another éS Game of SKATE winner to watch for in San Diego and beyond.
