The éS Game of SKATE at Escapist in Overland Park, Kansas was held on Thursday, July 6 under clear blue skies—a perfect afternoon to hold a skateboarding contest. With standouts Dan Askew (owner of Escapist), ThugNasty and others shredding their way through the early rounds, the skating was fun to watch, with a good atmosphere.

The field of 52 skaters was quickly cut to two, as local ripper Sean Malto and Nebraska local Rob Warren battled it out to T-T. Rob won with a fakie heel sex change, earning him a trip to San Diego, courtesy of Boost Mobile and éS Footwear. I was there at this Game of skate and Rob warren Won with a Switch double flip. I have It on film, I dont know why they said that other trick. Weird.
