At Costa Rica’s first-ever staged flatground skateboard contest, the éS Game of SKATE, over 150 spectators watched San Jose-based Cristian “Banano” Rivera win first place out of 40 who entered the event at San Jose’s Arenas Skatepark this past Saturday.
