Support for the Bethlehem Skateplaza
The City of Bethlehem desires to fill a recreational void through the development of a skateplaza. These action sports enthusiasts deserve to have a place for their sport of choice just as ball players need ballfields. The skateplaza will not only benefit the active sports enthusiasts but will also benefit the community by not having the young people unlawfully use public and private property, causing property damage, trespassing violations and negative police contacts. The City recognizing the need for this type of facility,is committed to securing the necessary funding to achieve this goal. The plaza will be capable of supporting skaters and BMXers from novice to advanced. The $1.3 million skateplaza will be more than 750 ft. long totaling 40,000 sq. ft. The project was designed with input from local as well as nationally known riders, replicating popular skating spots around the world. The skateplaza will not just serve the community but will be a destination site.
15 Years of éS Event Recap
Recently, éS celebrated 15 Years Skated. 15 years is a great benchmark in skateboarding and our distributor in Japan, Sonik Distribution, threw éS a great anniversary party at Cafe Studio in Tokyo, Japan. The party highlighted the achievements éS has accomplished over the years. Check out the photos from the night below.
