Ben Raemers

Don't let these simple mannerisms fool you, this softly spoken Brit wields a powerful stick. Ben Raemers' ascent through the ranks, although swift, comes as no-surprise to the folks of the ‘green and pleasant land’. Like the youthful sap rising swiftly through the oaky trunk of British skateboarding; his boundless enthusiasm and positivity breathe life into every trip he embarks on.

Ben has more than proved his worth on numerous occasions over the years and all the notches he's been slowly carving into everything he skates have not gone un-noticed. In 2009 he began to reap the rewards and he and his skateboard finally began to make their way around the world, for free.

A 100% legitimate ‘good-guy’, backed up by some of the most consistent skateboarding-power that the UK has ever produced. We can only hope you all get the chance to see and skate with Ben at some point soon. It is an honor to have him on board

Day of Driving

Yesterday was the longest drive of the trip. 560 miles of highway, a whole day event. We crammed in the van, most too tired to get up, and enjoyed some solid traffic for the first two hours, just to get out of the Virginia Beach area.

John put this shirt on to constantly remind me how he felt about the van ride.

Yesterday was our mellow day on this tour, all of us needed a little beach time. No street skating, just a mellow demo and signing over at 17th St.

Atlanta Day 1

Yesterday we cut through the panhandle of Florida and headed through Alabama on the way to Atlanta, Georgia. Josh our local yelp expert found a nice lunch stop for us along the way in Montgomery.

Machotaildrop Premiere

The UK is currently watching a special premier of MACHOTAILDROP, with filmmakers Corey Adams and Alex Craig in attendance, as well as éS pros Rick McCrank and John Rattray who star in the film and will be doing a Q&A once the screening is over. The screening was completely sold out and people were waiting around even after it started for any spare tickets that might pop up.
