Earlier this year éS did a Tour of the North West, made all that much better by the fact that Joe Brook was there. See his version of events over at Thrasher Magazine
Mike Anderson
Mike Anderson rips. Plain and simple. Speed, effortless style, finesse and comfort on all terrains on a skateboard. Manderson makes it look really easy and really good. That is, when he's not busy blowing things up with fireworks and breaking things and whatnot. Mike knows how to have fun. He smiles big. He doesn't seem to care about much and doesn't let things bum him out. Take him to Chick-Fil-A and he'll be your best friend.
The fact that Mike sees questions about his skateboarding “career” as too serious serves as testament that he's on this Earth to have a good time skating and wants to let it do most of the talking. Coming out of Ventura, California and alternating between there and Los Angeles, Mike takes a unique approach to spots in both places and everywhere in between.
Watching his 522 on 411 part, you know you're going to be in for something different when instead of hearing music there's a phone interview accompanying his skating. Or maybe it's the long hill bomb, half of which is switch, during his Welcome to Krooked part that helps convince you. No doubt his creativity and unhampered willingness to be a bit different are some of the reasons Mike is co-signed by the Gonz himself, landing a spot on the Krooked team with fellow éS rider Bobby Worrest.
Mike also rides for other heavy-hitter teams like Matix and Spitfire. Seeing Mike skate, you can see bits of his favorite skaters like Julien Stranger and Mike Carroll combined with some Devo-like weirdness that makes it joy to witness. For more proof of Mike's legitness, you can check out his footage in Krooked's Naughty, his 522 on 411 section and his Introducing: Mike Anderson part from Krooked. Manderson has a bright future ahead in skating, even if he sees the idea of having a “career” as a hamper to his good time.
Mike skates for: éS Skateboarding, Krooked Skateboards, Thunder Trucks, Spitfire Wheels and Matix Clothing.
Happy Holidays from Mike Anderson & Krooked

Boneless One Day
Today has been tagged as International Boneless One Day. It is time to go have some fun and throw down one of the funnest tricks in skateboarding. Invented by the very great Gary Scott Davis, infamous as GSD, one of Street skating's true pioneers. Gary first put his foot down for skating in 1980 grabbing his board thrusting it upward and then jumping to follow it forward before its inevitable gravity defying reign ended. Before the ollie, and before Rodney Mullen invented every other trick in the modern Street skaters artillery, the Boneless and its variations were the best way to go up and over something without a ramp.
