Perhaps I should’ve taken “slim” as a clue, and perhaps the issue is compounded because of the very stiff eco materials, but I’ve been trying to shake a case of Morton’s neuroma and these accel eco slims are not going to help. Very narrow, whereas what I’m used to from the Caspians is a much wider toe box area. Nervous even to try the non-eco accel slims because of this. With my Aetrex insoles (which actually aren’t very thick) these shoes in my normal éS size (10) are unusually and frustratingly tight. I want to skate through thsi pair as quickly as possible and hope that they don’t worsen the foot problems I’ve been dealing with; I won’t be buying these again. Dear éS, please add more vegan options into the shoes you’re planning next (not many in the current lineup besides the Muska vegan, which already sold out). I will keep buying the great vegan options (love the black/gum Caspians and missed out on the vegan Swift 1.5s. Thanks for what you do, and especially for the great vegan options.

Always loved the original Accel's and couldn't be happier with the slim model. Clean lines and amazing comfort. Looking forward to getting a couple more pairs.

The shoe fits and is very comfortable as you would expect, like a standard Accel Slim. Skates well. BUT, the big issue is the eco suede. It’s obnoxiously stiff, and doesn’t seems to get better. I’ve been wearing this pair for 2 weeks now and they are still so stiff I can barely bend the shoe when walking. The shoes do not want to bend at the toe and this has actually cause one shoe to rip where your toes bend because the material is so stiff. They do skate pretty well, the stiffness seems to affect skating less than every day activities but it’s just off. Love the gray color way with the speckle outsole. All in all, I recommend just getting a standard suede Accel Slim and passing on these since they aren’t a true representation of how amazing the Accel Slim is.
