The Accel Kevlar® Is Here

To celebrate Accel Day May 19th 2026, we've pushed the boundries of skate footwear, we proudly present the Accel Kevlar.

Every year on May 19, 5/19 becomes éS - the fifth and nineteenth letters of the alphabet. A simple idea that grew into a moment to celebrate the Accel and what it represents.

This year we've partnered with 30 premium partners whose shops will have this extremely limited edition style available on Tuesday 5/19 to help celebrate Accel day, and the historic impact it's made on skateboarding.

Within this run, pairs 005 and 019 carry special significance, referencing May 19 (5/19) - Accel Day itself. The skaters who receive these numbers will be invited into a one-of-a-kind Accel Day prize package.

Each winner will receive an assigned pair of Accels from the éS archive, personally signed by Pierre-Andre Senizergues & Don Brown. These archive pieces are one-of-one signed items. The Accel was designed by Pierre-Andre Senizergues in 1994 and was first released in 1995.

The prize experience also includes a private video call with the éS team. This is an open, informal conversation - an opportunity to talk freely with the team and skaters (including TJ Rogers and more), ask questions, hear stories, get advice, and more.
