Yes. Every éS shoe is designed for technical skateboarding, from tread patterns to foam systems to wear zones. éS was founded to push skate footwear design forward, and that engineering-first mindset guides every model we release.

Durability is engineered into the build: reinforced ollie zones, rubber overlays, triple stitching, and high-abrasion materials. Cupsole models provide long-lasting outsole integrity, while selected vulc models use wrapped foxing for wear protection.

éS shoes use skate-specific construction features for durability, comfort and performance. These include cupsole construction, reinforced ollie zones, triple-stitched toe caps, rubberized overlays on high-wear areas, hidden lace-loops, molded EVA or E-Bound foam insoles for impact protection, breathable mesh panels and high-grip rubber outsoles.

All éS shoes use cupsole construction, but each model offers a different mix of support, boardfeel and durability. Classic styles like the Accel or Swift are stable and durable. Modern models focus on lighter weight and impact protection, while heritage remasters keep original design DNA. Choose based on whether you want more support or a more responsive feel.

Yes. Many models were built using STI Energy Foam midsoles, high-rebound insoles, and supportive cupsole construction and we are always developing technologies for the future. These designs originated from the golden era of technical skating and have been refined to handle modern impact demands.

Full-grain leather, suede, synthetic reinforcements, breathable mesh, and high-grip rubber. Materials are selected for the blend of durability, performance, and feel needed for technical skateboarding.

éS was founded to advance skate footwear. In the 90s and 2000s, the brand set the benchmark for technical design - clean silhouettes, smart overlays, better impact protection, and shoes built to progress skateboarding. Today, that same engineering mindset underpins every new model.

Everything you need to complete your fit divided into three categories; Tops include tees and pullovers; Bottoms include denim pants and shorts; Accessories include socks and caps.

éS has been worn by many of skateboarding’s most influential pros, including Eric Koston, Tom Penny, Chad Muska, Bob Burnquist, Rick McCrank and Ronnie Creager. Later generations included Paul Rodriguez, PJ Ladd, Rodrigo TX and Wade Desarmo. In 2025, éS introduced the TJ Rogers pro model, continuing the brand’s long tradition of supporting elite skateboarders.

Fit depends on the piece; use the size chart for Tops and size up if you are between sizes. For bottoms, the denim pants are true to size and feature a nice baggy fit.

Start with chest and waist; then match your numbers to the Tops size chart. For example: size M corresponds to a chest measurement of 93 to 101 cm and waist 81 to 86 cm; if you are between sizes, size up for a looser fit or down for a cleaner fit.

As they are designed with a medium-width profile, most éS shoes fit true to size with a classic skate fit-secure in the heel with room for natural movement in the forefoot. Models like the Accel and Swift are built on legacy éS lasts, while newer silhouettes may feel more streamlined. If you prefer a tighter performance fit, you can size down ½ size.
