“Honestly, what is there to say about Tom which hasn’t been preached over and over? Tom doesn’t really participate in the usual rhythms of a session. He’ll disappear for a bit, come back, try something once or twice, and either land it or not - sometimes with no visible attachment to the outcome. We all know this. Like we say; it’s been preached over and over.
But maybe what doesn’t get airtime is that Tom is still one of the most humble and grateful out there. To be able to live his life as he does; as such a fan of skateboarding – both doing it and watching it. I think that part can surprise people.”
