“TJ Roger grew up skating in Whitby, Canada and the way he talks about spots he grew up with you could describe as more ‘accurate’ in description rather than with fondness. That’s probably why he travels so much.  

I think we all grew up on spots knowing the Holy Grail probably wasn’t local. And TJ has mentioned in interviews before that he gets bored if things feel too familiar, and that this is usually when he starts changing how he skates, where he skates, or when he skates.  That gets called restlessness as if it is a negative. But that’s not it.  

That is why TJ got to where he is. That’s why always shows up with more footage than anyone else we can think of.
