Drawing inspiration from ’90s and early 2000s éS heritage models, the shoe blends classic design cues with TJ’s personal style and modern performance demands. Every element is built with purpose, balancing durability, control, and boardfeel to support the way TJ skates.

My New Favorite Modern Skate Shoe

I skate primarily the DC Lynx OGs. I own about 20 pairs of them. I've been skating those since 1998. Not too long ago a had came across a shoe review video on YouTube from Spencer. He stated that he has also skated Lynx OGs and that he also liked this show. From that review with his discount code, I decided to try these TJ's. I'm shocked at how comfortable this shoe is, and there was zero break in period. After the first skate session I bought another pair before the colorway sold out. I also bought 2 white and red colorway pairs from a skate shop that are discontinued on ESs website.

Mine didnt come with sti insoles

I love the shoes but mine did not come with sti insoles, they were just regular insoles so I had to put my old insoles from my emerica dicksons in them.

The tj pro modle

I got my pair and are currently skating them. I like the fit, and how they skate. The only thing I see wrong is the inner lace straps can be anchored a little better. The top one broke on mine the first time I walked in the shoes. So I replaced them with the normal holes and it fine.

Fav skate shoe ever

Es were always my fav shoe to skate in. Idk why but they just fit and stayed on and felt perfect to skate in and lasted the longest when it came to durability. These shoes look so dope and they added some features so they last longer even if you skate them every day. Man I wish I had the money to buy these, but being an adult is hard 😭. But quality wise, you can’t find better and the look of these is top notch. Maybe I’ll ask my gf for these for a xmas present or something lol. But ya es shoes are great and these are the best looking es shoes I’ve seen them make. Keep the bangers coming. If I can’t support you by buying them I’ll support by commenting. Glad yall still around and striving. Would love to see an all black with that red. Replace all the white with black and keep the red how it is, I think that should be your next colorway.

As they are designed with a medium-width profile, most éS shoes fit true to size with a classic skate fit-secure in the heel with room for natural movement in the forefoot. Models like the Accel and Swift are built on legacy éS lasts, while newer silhouettes may feel more streamlined. If you prefer a tighter performance fit, you can size down ½ size.
