Rooted in the legacy of the original Accel, the Accel Slim reinterprets a skateboarding icon with a lighter, more streamlined feel. Designed for modern skating, it keeps the unmistakable DNA of the Accel OG while refining the silhouette for increased boardfeel and control.
Built around a thinner cupsole construction, the Accel Slim delivers a closer connection to the board without giving up the durability and grip éS is known for. The premium suede upper is reinforced in high-wear areas, offering long-lasting performance while maintaining a clean, responsive feel.
Inside, impact-absorbing STI Energy Foam cushioning helps reduce fatigue during long sessions, while the trimmed-down tongue and collar provide low-profile support without excess bulk. Breathable mesh panels improve airflow, keeping the shoe comfortable through heavy skating.

Accel Slim: All Heritage; Zero Bulk
The Accel Slim takes the timeless DNA of the Accel and trims it down for a new era. All the heritage, none of the bulk: a slimmer shape, more boardfeel and a modern fit, introduced in 2014 and created a next-gen version for skaters who grew up watching the original.
Reviews

I received size 11.5 instead of an 8.5. I’ve tried multiple times to contact anyone from customer support and still no resolution. I should not have to pay for shipping off their mistake. Bummed cause I wanted to buy in shops but was forced to buy online. Do better, és needs to pick it up w/ their customer service.
I’ve been skating the accel slim for a couple of years now. I’m on my third pair. I tried other shoes but this one has the best balance of board feel, protection, and durability. Plus, they look great.
they're super comfortable, and seem like great quality so far
I ordered 3 items and received them Dec. 6. One pair of shoes that came was the wrong size. It was the Accel Slim navy/grey/gum. They were size 8.5 but the box was 11.5, which is was what I ordered. I sent an email right after that to customer service. Still no response. Then a couple days later via website went to the contact us page and sent another detailed message. There are photos in each message. Still no response. I feel like there is a disconnect from the company and the customer. I don’t normally write reviews but I got this email to rate my order, before I’ve gotten a response from my issue.

ordered the same size I wear for NB 508 and Cambridge, ended up being a perfect fit.
Feeling great and Look like new after 1 week of skateboarding
Had my First skate session with these accel slims over the weekend and im LOVING this shoe! Its really hard to find a set of shoes for my feet when it comes down to me having a slightly wider foot than normal and a shoe that doesnt hurt especially when breaking in a shoe. These definitely dont have a break in period, ready right out the box for sure which is nice, no pain or soreness in the arch like a lot of shoes give me despite being still a little narrower than I was hoping they are still skateable and are not too tight! I will continue to skate these thru until the bottoms wear out just threw some shoe goo to help them last a little longer as usual with every shoe I purchase. I will be putting up a final review on my YouTube channel once they are thrashed

Have 5 pairs of the Accel Slim and 1 pair of the OG Accel , love to skate them , they do wear a little quickly , and you might wanna upgrade the insole but great board feel so I can’t complain. Even better when they are on sale

They fit awesome , but I haven’t gotten to skate them yet but the OGs are awesome to skate so I’ll assume these are to . Also awesome price for the shoes.
I used to skate the accel og’s back in the puffy shoe era. Loved them. Multiple pairs. As trends changed I found that I like less puff but still love the cup sole and shape. I usually only buy shoes that I can try on but took a chance and bought the slims. The shoe feels great accept for one aspect. The insole has a higher heal for heel support and sets your foot at an angle. Not a fan of that but I don’t have money to keep buying new shoes so I’m going to just try and get used to it.
