Merely a shadow of the OG K2

To make it short: I don’t get the design decision to the change the outsole. The outsole of the original shoe was such a characteristic design feature. To change that means changing the complete shoe.
I was stoked when I found out they would retro the K2s because I couldn't get them back in the day.
When I saw the first pictures of the retro I was just disappointed. I’m still not decided if I should buy a pair. It just doesn’t make sense to change the shoe in such a drastic manner and then market it as connected the OG.

Coming apart after one week

These shoes are coming apart and showing huge signs of wear with a broken lace and broken seams at the toe after only one week of skating..not a fan of this overrated skate shoe...
